I believe it is incredibly important to photograph each wedding differently than I did before. Sure, there are many moments that are similar and demand a particular approach, but I always try to spice it up. Sometimes, just getting down to the ground, or getting up on a chair to photograph a moment is what’s necessary to capture that moment.. I as a wedding photographer am constantly pushing myself to deliver a fresh, unique shot for my clients. They are hiring me because I am an artist, not a traditional wedding photographer.

Between the poses is where the magic lies

Most of my angles and compositions are determined by the situation and the emotion of the moment. My approach is very cinematic. I pay attention to what is truly going on and how to tell that story. As a wedding photographer, I am being hired to tell the story of your wedding day, as I see it. Therefore it is extremely important to be attentive and emotionally involved to capture the soul of the day. I notice often that wedding photographers follow a formula when shooting weddings. I throw the formula out the window and approach every wedding fresh, to create something truly unique every time. This keeps my love for what I do fresh as well.
