We were so fortunate to find Mirek to be our photographer! We had our engagement photo session with him in May, and wedding photos in October of last year. We could not have asked for a better experience - he was extremely accommodating and professional. He helped put my husband and I at ease during both events. We had a few glitches in our big day - it ended up raining and our original ideas for first look and group photos fell through, but Mirek stepped in with some great ideas and we just followed his lead - and the results were amazing. Our family and friends were very impressed with the quality of the photos that he captured. His forte is capturing precious moments, rather than staged photos. All around, we had a great experience working with him. We highly recommend him!

I cannot say enough great things about working with Mirek. He is not only very professional and easy to work with but he also has great attention to detail and his creativity is unlike any other. Even our guest were amazed and noticed his eye for detail. We hired him for our wedding and the moments he was able to capture were just amazing. One of the most important elements of any wedding is the photography. Let's be real, your wedding will last for one day, but your wedding photos will live forever on the internet. Mirek (Miroslaw) did a phenomenal job on our wedding day! The way he used natural lighting to capture my loved ones still blows my mind, and the minimal retouching on the final images was just perfect. I LOVE every single picture. Every. Single. Picture. Two years later and I still cry (tears of joy) whenever I look through my wedding album.

You Can Stop Looking For a Photographer

Mirek specializes in the candid, photojournalistic style that you have been seeing up and down your Pinterest board. From our 1st meeting discussion and sample viewing, we knew right away that he was our man. Our venue was small and intimate. We really worried that we'd have enough "material" for a nice album. Mirek took care of that. We love our pictures and the album he created. He did a beautiful job taking and then in the post production. He has quick turnaround too. We just ordered a canvas print and a metallic print to hang in our new home. His prices are great and he is very easy to work with. We recommend Mirek with NO reservations. We plan to hire him again for boudoir pics and maternity pics (in that order, LOL).

Captured Moments Really Wonderfully

Mirek provided a wonderful, flawless service from beginning to end. He was very responsive and attentive throughout the entire process - meeting with us well in advance of the day to talk about his style, our needs, particular requests, etc. He was immensely flexible in negotiations over our service, and always enthusiastic about working with us and our venue, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. He was always active in thinking about great locations for photos to be taken, and helping us imagine the flow of the day. On the day itself he reacted with ingenuity when poor weather caused a last-minute change to an indoor ceremony. He worked closely and quickly with us and our other vendors to reimagine the ceremony in a way that couldn't have been more special. The photos themselves are beautiful - we are really overwhelmed by the quality of the images - both the portraits and the intimate, candid shots from throughout the preparations, ceremony, and reception. Mirek blends moments of artistic framing, formally-prepared shots with key guests and spontaneously captured moments really wonderfully. Our photobook is stunning. Mirek's overall service is exceptional - we couldn't recommend him highly enough.
